Simultaneous LDV/PIV-measurements

LDV measurements to characterize the flow characteristics of the test rig and PIV measurements on a transparent flow body were carried out simultaneously on a development test rig for flow sensors for water. A special window chamber for optical access and a 1D-LDV system with directional sense detection were used for the LDV measurements. The compact 40 W laser diode module from OPTOLUTION, the PCO camera panda 26 DS and the software PIVlab were used for the PIV measurements in various measurement planes.
