New 400 W PIV laser

We have developed a new PIV diode laser with a peak power of 400 W. This significantly improves the possibilities of PIV measurements in air. In the video shown below, we test our new laser with an OPTRONIS camera and achieve measured values of 2000 Hz at 40 m/s and a 400 x 400 mm test section. This laser opens up new possibilities for PIV measurements in air.
